Monitoring Overview

Starting with version V4, 1Gateway offers two possibilities for monitoring an instance — either by pulling (polling) the data or by pushing (publishing) it.

• Poll: Enable internal monitoring and configure your monitoring tool to poll the required metrics directly from 1Gateway.
• Publish: For external monitoring (e.g., by an MSP), enable the system_monitor plugin, which will publish monitoring data for external systems to consume.

This flexibility allows you to adapt monitoring to your organization’s needs, whether you prefer to collect data internally or provide it to a third party.
